Fanart of my favorite character from Beniiro Hero. All the main characters are actually really cool, but among them, Ousaka Tomoyo is the coolest. I love her different hairstyles too. I considered drawing her with spectacles, like how she appeared early in the series...but oh well, I didn't in the end for various reasons. (She looks equally nice with the specs on too >_<.
Beniiro Hero is a very enjoyable shoujo manga to read, with very beautiful artwork by Takanashi Mitsuba.
Thank you. So Shoujobeat also publishes Beniiro Hero? That's really cool! It's always nice to see great mangas getting published in English and getting a larger audience ^_^.
Who's your favorite character?
I think Rena's quite cool too...but so far it feels she'll be just a minor supporting character...
Yep! I'm so glad that it's been translated into English. I think SB is starting to pick up on a lot of great titles such as Crimson Hero, Honey and Clover and NANA(another favorite).
Hm, I think my favorite has to be Yushin and as for the girls...I think Nobara is my first favorite because her entrance at the start of the manga was pretty funny. Tomoyo seems a bit scary sometimes...lol. She's my second favorite character out of the girls.

Mmm...I only read a bit of NANA manga...but I watched the anime until it ended..I hope they make another season >_<. It's very nice too.
For the guys I think I personally like Haibuki...but sometimes he's a bit disagreeable, and even mean...although I always have a tendency to like such characters...maybe that's why I think Tomoyo is also cool haha... I can't wait for the 13th volume this...May >_<.
I think the anime pretty much follows the manga. Sometimes I worry about the adaptation from book to screen. I'm so hoping they do a second season too. ^^
Haibuki would've been a second favorite if he didn't remind me of my ex-boyfriend both in appearance and attitude. Haha. You're so lucky that the volumes are released much quicker than they are here. Patience is a virtue!

Hm... the ones I get here are published by Shuueisha. I think they're the fastest hehe...though...still not fast enough. Viz Media publishes a lot of manga over in US if I'm not wrong, but they are indeed a bit slower hehe. But I guess it gives you time to read and do other stuff ^^
Mhm. Definitely a bit slower than most but at least SB and Viz is catching on. TOKYOPOP has some decent manga out as well. The downside to TOKYOPOP is quite a bit of manga published by TOKYOPOP is reversed from the original Japanese reading format. I usually cheap out and read scanlations from onemanga.com when I can't get my hands on certain volumes. Haha.

Ahh I see. Hm reversing the format is a very wrong thing to do...and I think it messes up a lot of things especially the flow of the story...I didn't think major publishers still do that >_<.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
